About Next Level Church
Who we are
A church family in Matthews, NC that has found hope in Jesus — and wants as many people as possible to experience that same freedom.
Above everything else
We are passionate about the difference Jesus has made in our life.
We are living out the words of Jesus who said, "I have come that they may have life to the full." If you are someone who is living life at any level less than that, we want you to know that an amazing, satisfying, purposeful life is possible and available for you. Everything we do as a church is to see that happen for people just like you!

A family that found hope
Here's the deal — Next Level Church cares about one thing more than anything else: Jesus Christ. We are a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Where we come from
Started by 40 people in 2005
Next Level Church was started in January 2005 by 40 people who imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone — where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. Next Level hosted its first gathering in late 2005.

Hope and freedom in Jesus
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Next Level Church is committed to fostering a community built around hope and freedom. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Free to truly live. Free of stale religion. Hope and freedom in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
