What is a Budget?
A budget is a plan for every dollar you have. It’s not magic, but it represents more financial freedom and a life with much less stress. Here’s how to set up and then manage your budget.
How to budget money
Calculate your monthly income, then allocate for every dollar. Try the 10/10/50/30 rule as a simple budgeting framework.
Commit 10% of your income to giving.
Commit 10% of your income to savings.
Allow up to 50% of your income for needs.
Leave 30% of your income for wants.
Use a tool to track and manage your budget. Click below for an example budget you can copy.

Help Our Church With Budgeting
In the same way you need to know your estimated income for 2024 to build your personal budget, you can help us build our 2024 church budget by letting us know your planned giving for 2024. If we all participate, we can build a more accurate budget to raise the reputation of Jesus where we live work and play.
We understand that life can change in an instant, so of course this form is just your best estimate of what you plan to give to Next Level Church in 2024.
And if you're not tithing (giving at least 10%) already, a great way to start is with the Tithe Challenge. It’s based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10, and essentially it’s a money-back guarantee of sorts.
Here’s our commitment to you. If you tithe during 2024 and hit a financial bump where you need the money, we will give it all back you.
