Volunteer mechanics working beneath a raised vehicle at Next Level Church

A ministry of Next Level Church

Single Moms' Auto Repair

A working car is the difference between a job and no job, a doctor's visit and a missed one. So two Saturdays a month our garage fills with volunteer mechanics who give away their skill — free labor, no strings — to single moms across the Charlotte metro.

The need across our community

Why this matters

The need is bigger than the garage

Every year this team gives away roughly $500,000 in free labor. And every year the need keeps growing — more single moms, more cars, more life on the line. That's not a scheduling problem — it's a hands problem. More mechanics, more helpers, and more support mean more moms driving home with one less thing to be afraid of.

It's one of the greatest things we get to do to serve our community, and it's exactly what we mean when we say we want to raise the reputation of Jesus where we live, work, and play.

Want to serve on this team?

You don't have to be a master mechanic. We need turners of wrenches, runners of parts, greeters, and people to sit and listen. If you can give a Saturday, we can use you.
