Volunteer at Trunk or Treat

We need about 16 people to make our Dog Friendly Trunk or Treat run smoothly. 12 spots are still open. Pick a role you'd enjoy, and we'll confirm assignments before the event.

Roles we need

Parking team

2 of 3 needed

5:30 to 7:45 PM

Wear vests and carry flashlights. Fill the south lot first, then the back lot, then the grass along the drive. Keep the accessible spots open. After 6:45, one person can move to help elsewhere.

Counters

5:50 to 7:30 PM

Stand at the entrance. Counter 1 has two clickers, one for adults and one for kids. Counter 2 has one clicker for dogs. Write the totals down at 6:30, 7:00 and 7:30.

Grill crew

4:30 to 7:30 PM

Cook the hot dogs. Gloves and tongs on, hot dogs heated all the way through (steaming, 165°F).

Popcorn and serving

Run the popcorn machine. Hand out hot dogs, popcorn and water.

Game zone host

6 of 6 needed

5:45 to 7:30 PM

Run simple games for kids to play, things like ring toss and corn hole. Set the games up before 6:00, show people how to play, and keep the line moving.

Emcee

Filled

5:45 to 7:30 PM

Runs the music and makes the announcements.
